Nevada Delver (Smith)

Hometown: Hudson Bay, SK

Nevada has been involved in fastball as both a player and a coach at a variety of levels. She played her minor ball in Hudson Bay, SK, in B and C divisions, winning the Provincial C championships in 2013 and 2014. She competed at the 2014 U18 Nationals with Prince Albert Aces. After graduation, she played three seasons with the University of Regina Cougars Softball Team in the Western Collegiate Softball Association league.

Nevada is now a Competition Development (Level 3) Certified coach in Saskatoon, SK. She has been coaching in the competitive side of softball for several years, and has been involved in various programs in the Saskatoon area through Twin City Angels, Saskatoon Phantoms, and Softball Saskatchewan. Nevada was an Assistant Coach at the 2022 Canada Summer Games and is now the Head Coach for Team Sask for the 2025 Canada Summer Games. Nevada began coaching with 222’s Fastpitch in 2021, working with athletes in all areas of the game through the Travel Teams, Winter Training, Small Groups, and Factory programs.
