Hometown: Mermaid, PEI
Mark is a chartered professional coach with the Coaches Association of Canada and is Competition Development (Level 3) Certified. He had a distinguished playing career at the club team level, competing in several Canadian Championships. In 1993, Mark competed with Team PEI at the Canada Summer Games, helping the team to a bronze medal at the tournament. In 2002 he received Tournament All-star recognition at the National Provincial Championships in New Zealand.
In his coaching career, Mark helped Canada to a bronze medal finish at the 2016 WBSC U19 Men’s World Cup, and in 2018, a Gold Medal coaching Softball Canada’s Junior Men’s National Team in Guatemala at the WBSC America’s Qualifier.
