The Season is almost here!
These classes are for Elite Players, wishing to hone their skills prior to the Summer Season. For those of you familiar with 222’s Fastpitch Winter Training, there are some differences with our Pre-Season Prep Program. We will be working with smaller classes, and for those individuals who are playing the game at an Elite level. Also, rather than focusing on aspects of Form, we will be tuning up our skills and conditioning for the upcoming Season of ball. There will be a focus on the mental approach to the game as well. All our sessions will take place in the New Gordie Howe Sports Complex in Saskatoon!
We have three separate types of tune up classes for you:
Pre-Season Prep Program – Hitting / Fielding Elite (Limited Spots Available)
Mar 28 @ 8pm – 10pm, Apr 5 @ 8pm – 10pm, Apr 12 @ 8pm – 10pm, Apr 23 @ 7pm – 9pm, and Apr 25 @ 7pm – 9pm
Sessions will include:
- Positional and Hitting skill refinement in preparation for the upcoming season
- Drills to increase the pace of performance
- Advanced strategic overview by position
- Physical conditioning and injury prevention
Pre-Season Prep Program – Pitching Elite (Limited Spots Available)
Mar 21 @ 8pm – 10pm, Apr 2 @ 7pm – 9pm, Apr 11 @ 7pm – 9pm, Apr 18 @ 8pm – 10pm, and Apr 24 @ 7pm – 9pm
Sessions will include:
- Proper Practice and Game Warm-up Techniques
- Drills to increase Legs / Arm Strength
- Drills to increase accuracy
- Development of Different Spins and Change of Speeds
- Defensive Coverage
- Mental Approach
Pre-Season Prep Program – Catching Elite (Limited Spots Available)
Mar 21 @ 8pm – 10pm, Apr 2 @ 7pm – 9pm, Apr 11 @ 7pm – 9pm, Apr 18 @ 8pm – 10pm, and Apr 24 @ 7pm – 9pm
Sessions will include:
- Drills to improve footwork, throwing, blocking, catching
- Drills to increase conditioning
- Calling a Game / Handling pitchers strengths / weaknesses
- Defensive Coverage
- Mental Approach
