Ryan has had a long career in Fastpitch Softball, and has a collection of Medals to show for it:
- Two Gold Medals and one Silver at the Midget Canadian Championships
- Canada Games Gold Medal in 1993
- Two Gold Medals and one Silver at the Junior Men’s National Championships
- Has Competed in 5 Senior A National Championships
Ryan continues to play competitively at the Masters level, and has Won 2 Gold Medals and one Bronze Medal at the Western Canadian Masters Championships.
Ryan has caught a long list of Fastpitch Softball Pitchers including; Dean Holoien, Trevor Ethier, Rob Scheller, and many more. Dean Holoien has mentioned on many occasions that Ryan is on the list as one of the best defensive catchers to play the game.
222’s Fastpitch is very lucky to have Ryan part of the Instructor Team. We love to bug him about being a grumpy old man at times, but few have the heart and passion that Ryan has when he instructs. Ryan has a unique way of getting his message across to the kids, and at the same time, allows them to have some laughs along the way.
