2’s Week in the Toon is back!
2’s Week is a 4-day softball event that will be available for both girls and boys. 2’s Week is structured around 3 camps, providing opportunity for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are just learning to play softball or getting ready for elite college ball, you can join us for another great week of softball instruction with the 222’s family. 2’s Week is held inside the beautiful Gordie Howe Sports Complex in Saskatoon, SK – no fear of a rain out!
Times are subject to change based on final number of registrations, and ages of athletes.
Rookie Camp – U9 – U11
Rookie Camp is open to girls and boys born 2015 – 2012. This camp will run for three hours daily (proposed 9am-12pm) and feature instructors that are all former 222’s Fastpitch Travel Team members, with most currently playing at US Colleges. Athletes will learn skills in all facets of the game of softball in an interactive and fun way. Instructor to athlete ratios is high to ensure that each young athlete is getting the most out of their experience while creating a safe environment.
Cost: $299 + GST
Take it to the Next Level Camp – U13 – U19
Next Level Camp is open to girls and boys born 2011-2004. This camp will run for five hours daily (proposed 9am – 2pm) and feature a combination of 222’s Staff Instructors and former 222’s Fastpitch Travel Team members / Current College Players. Athletes will receive instruction in mechanics and position specific skills. This camp is designed to assist young softball players in taking their game to the next level. Athletes of all skill levels will be challenged by individually based instruction to provide specific feedback for each athlete.
Cost: $450 + GST
Elite College Prep Sessions – Girls Born 2007 and Older
The sessions will run daily for two hours (proposed 3pm-5pm) at the conclusion of the day camps. These sessions will feature the 222’s Fastpitch Lead Instructors. The skills and conditioning sessions are designed for those players preparing to return to college or those attending elite team tryout camps. Sessions will consist of high intensity drills with the intent to prepare players for the pace of the college game. Space in the session is limited with college freshman and returning college players receiving first consideration. Younger players may be permitted into the session based on availability and skill level.
Cost: $399 + GST
